Crowdfunding Österreich

Your support remains very welcome, as unfortunately we did not receive all the funds we were hoping for.
Which project?
In June 2024, Musica Gloria plans to record a new album featuring music from the collection of Georg Österreich (1664-1735) that has never been recorded before. This collection contains numerous unexplored gems from 17th-century Northern Germany. It includes some of the first German compositions with oboes in sacred music. They are somewhat similar to Buxtehude’s works, but with wind instruments added. In addition to the recording, we will perform this program five times in early June, more details can be found in our agenda.
Meet the lineup
For this project, the Musica Gloria lineup will consist of 8 singers, 2 oboes, bassoon, 2 violins, 2 violas, cello, harpsichord, and a historical church organ. This will be the largest CD lineup to date. If you would like to get a sense of how Musica Gloria sounds in a similar setup, you can listen to the Alleluia from a Chandos Anthem by Handel.
Why crowdfunding?
We are pleased that, after significant efforts, most of the funding is in place. However, to cover all costs, we still need €6,000. Hence, we are launching this crowdfunding campaign. If this amount is exceeded, we will use it entirely for our next recording project. We have many ideas to continue delighting our audience!

Via the button below, you can make your choice and in the comments you can state whether you will come to collect the CD at one of our concerts or would like to receive it at home (presumably in December 2024).
