Do you have a soft spot for Musica Gloria? Below, you can find out why, what for, and how you can support and help us.

Through Baroque music, we aim to share connection, beauty, depth and sensitivity with the world. We do this primarily through concerts and recordings, guided by the principles of respectful and sustainable entrepreneurship. With an eye for detail, quality, emotion and historically informed performance practice, we aim to create an atmosphere and sound world that offers an experience inviting us to be present together in the moment. Unlike the 2022–2026 seasons, we will receive no subsidies at all from the Flemish government for the 2026–27 season. As a result, the support of friends, volunteers and supporters is currently more important than ever (see also at the bottom of this page why support is important).

If you’ve landed on this page, there’s a good chance you’ve already experienced for yourself how we pursue our mission with passion, perfectionism and love. Every form of support makes a difference. Below you’ll find more about the main ways you can help: (1) Become a friend by making a monthly donation, (2) Help out behind the scenes as a volunteer, (3) Make a one-off support (donation) to Musica Gloria and (4) Listen to and share our music.

1. Become a friend by making a monthly donation

With a monthly contribution*, you help us to sustain our activities, develop them in the long term and realise new projects. As a friend, you’ll also stay closer to Musica Gloria, and we’ll be happy to keep you informed about what’s happening behind the scenes.

Our membership contributions

From €5 per month
You’ll automatically receive our monthly newsletter, and we’ll keep you updated on what we’ve been able to achieve thanks to our members’ support. If you want, you can join the Musica Gloria community WhatsApp group**.

From €10 per month
Same as above + An invitation for two persons to our annual Friends’ gathering, where we’ll be happy to share details of our work and projects.

From €20 per month
Same as above + An invitation for two persons to get a closer look at our work at special occasions, such as during a rehearsal.

From €30 per month
Same as above + If you wish, we’d be happy to list you on our website as a friend of Musica Gloria.

From €100 per month
Same as above + We’d love to meet you to discuss together how we’ll use your contribution.

2. Help out behind the scenes as a volunteer

Musica Gloria is not carried by musicians alone. Volunteers also play an important role in our work. From practical help at concerts to providing accommodation, taking photographs or proofreading and writing texts: many contributions, big and small, make a difference.

3. Make a one-off donation to Musica Gloria

Would you prefer to support us in a different way or (for the time being) with a one-off donation? That’s possible too!

  • When you buy CDs from us, we keep more of the proceeds.
  • We occasionally organise crowdfunding campaigns for special recording projects. The Hofklanken 1715 crowdfunding campaign is still running as not all costs incurred have been covered yet.
  • As a company or organisation, you can support us through sponsorship. This can be in the form of a financial contribution, or support in kind, such as accommodation or meals. Please feel contact us at: musicagloria@icloud.com

4. Listen to and share our music

One of the best ways to support us is simply to enjoy our music and share it. For example:

  • You can come to our concerts and invite family, friends and acquaintances.
  • You can buy our CDs directly from us and give them as gifts to someone who loves music.
  • You can sign up for our monthly newsletter and tell others about what we do.
  • You can listen to, like and share our recordings on YouTube.
  • You can follow Musica Gloria on Facebook and Instagram and invite others to do the same.

Why do we need your support?

Unfortunately, in the current European climate, a professional Baroque ensemble such as Musica Gloria cannot survive solely on income from concerts and recordings. The fees we receive from concert organisers are generally not enough to cover all our costs. Income from recordings and streaming covers only a small part of the costs involved in producing professional recordings. And then there are the general running costs (administration, production, website, newsletter, bookkeeping, etc.), which Nele and Beniamino currently handle without any remuneration.
